I bought a quart of Sherwin Williams "Butter Up" today to test it on the Hardiplank. It's only 1 coat with a cheap foam paintbrush, but what do you think? I need feedback before they paint the house.

I say slather it on! "Really purdy" Leigh Ann! Looks like the house is coming along quickly. Get out the paintbrushes!!!!!!!!
Hi LeAnn...I feel like I know you via Dena...Welcome to bloggieland!!! I wanted to share with you that I have this color in my kitchen and like it so far...I just did it this summer. It is yellow...no lemon chiffon here..yet not quite neon. Pure sunshine. I have a lot of light in my kitchen and I like it...of course, inside is different than out, but I thought I would share my experience with it!!! Good luck!!
I am the wife of a fantastic, loving, funny, supportive husband and the mother of two beautiful four-legged children. Ali is a border collie-golden retriever mix and Ashleigh is a small black lab. I have an incredible family (including the family that I married into) and I am blessed to be surrounded by a group of truly amazing friends. I enjoy cooking, traveling, decorating, movies, reality tv and spending time with family and friends.

I think it will look nice and bright - who doesn't like something cheery?
I think maybe khaki would be better - that's a LOT of yellow although I don't think it super yellow - but mike say it YELLOW!
What happened to good old fashion white? It's going to look GREAT no matter what colors you choose!
I think you need one more coat to see how bright it's going to be, because you can still see the wood through it. I like it so far!
