Why I haven't been blogging...

Everyone out there who used to read my blog has probably stopped reading long ago, so here is my explanation about where I've been for my last couple of readers. I started my new job at the beginning of the year, and it has been completely consuming all of my time. Most days I feel as if I-am-banging-my-head-against-a-brick-wall!! I make tons of phone calls, send out masses of emails, study reports, look over account lists, try to find new customers, walk into store after store to see who could buy what from me, work in the evenings, work on the weekends....blah, blah, blah. The ecomomy has not been kind to my business, especially since South Carolina has the second highest unemployment rate in the country. I have been working in this business for several years, and this is the job that I have always wanted. I am selling some of the cutest products that I have ever sold, but stores are not buying. If they are buying, then they are buying only small quantities. I have had more cancellations, stores not writing a single dollar after I have driven to meet with them, not wanting to make appointments with me, etc. than I have ever experienced. I don't mean to be Debbie Downer, but I need your prayers. Check out this cute stuff!!! I'd want to buy from me if I had a store.

Lots of cute stuff! I didn't know that S Carolina was #2 in unemployment - I bet Michigan is #1. I'll be praying for the economy.

You know we're in Michigan where things aren't good either. However, I work in real estate (yeah good times there :) and we are starting to see things turning around.
Always nice to hear some positive news!!

Good luck, hopefully the times will turn around. I mean the mall was packed here in Ga yesterday so some people are still buying stuff!

I'd have given anything for a set on those peepee teepees when my boys were babies. They peed on everything! Including me!!!

I'd love to shop there and I'm in SC -- do you feel comfortable telling me where the shop is?
