To say that I have been overwhelmed these last few weeks would be an understatement. For those of you who have actually stuck with me after checking my site for a new post day after day after day... I thank you for having patience with me. These past few weeks have been extremely busy, to say the least. Mike and I haven't been very good about keeping up with date night, so this past weekend we felt that it was time for a date. We thought "the girls" might need a date too:) We took them to get pedicures, pick up some take out (Science Diet light adult bites) and pick out some snacks (chicken flavored dental bones). We selected a movie (Juno), and went home to relax.

Ashleigh was a little disappointed that they didn't have time to do a french manicure.
Ali needed to prop her head up on a pillow so she could get a good look at the feature film.
Ashleigh looks like I have felt... Exhausted!!! Life is good, though, with a bone and a flick!!

At least your dogs like going and getting groomed. Our bigger dog hates it and she's going in tomorrow. They're going to start with a shot to calm her but I have a feeling they'll have to put her out for it. My poor Lexi - maybe I'll show her pictures of yours getting some pampering and love and she won't be so nervous!
