Mike and I have decided to start a weekly date night like our church recommends in order to stay connected as a couple. Last night we went on our "first date". We started by going to Books A Million so I could pick up "Get Out of that Pit" by Beth Moore. I am going to start doing an online book club. We then went to eat at one of our favorite restaurants- Travinias. We had a gift certificate from Christmas, so that made the food taste even better!! It was a great night, and we look forward to our next date!!

That is a great idea - I was just saying to Bob that we need to go out like that more often and not let "life" get in the way.
You will enjoy the Beth Moore book. I recieved mine a few days ago and chapter 1 was good. Now I have to read #2 so I'm ready for Mel on Wednesday!

oh what a great first date night. i cant wait for date night two. where will she take me? what should i wear and how should i wear my hair? i guess it doesnt matter when i love someone as much as i do. thanks for a great evening together!

Thats awesome! We started doing that this year too! I am sure that book will be great..although I do like listening to her more than reading her!

Yea for you two! Kane and I have been doing date night for almost 8 years, it is the best thing for a marriage! Congrats.
